Globalview Advisors has been a proud sponsor of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association (OC KABA) for the last five years. Brian Lee, Director from Globalview Advisors, attended this year’s 13th Annual Installation Dinner and Awards Ceremony, held at the Kia Motors America in Irvine. The evening’s Keynote Speaker and Honoree was Andrew Kim, General Counsel, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Corporate Secretary at NETGEAR. The dinner brought together a broad range of practitioners within the legal community, a group that includes judges, law firm partners, in-house counsel, government attorneys, law school faculty, non-profit attorneys and solo practitioners.

Demographic statistics compiled as part of the American Community Survey indicate that over 94,000 Korean-Americans live in Orange County, comprising 16 percent of Orange County’s total Asian-American population. This growth in numbers has been accompanied by an increase in the visibility and influence of the Korean-American community, as well as an increasing demand for legal services.

Globalview Advisors has been a proud sponsor of OC KABA since 2014. The organization was established in 2005 to foster professional and personal relationships between Korean-American attorneys through business networking and social events, providing pro bono services aimed at addressing the needs of the local Korean-American community, promoting the appointment of Korean-American judges, and facilitating the efforts of Korean-American law students to navigate the transition to licensed practice. OC KABA coordinates a diverse program of business networking events, mentorship opportunities, social mixers, and pro bono clinics.
