Raymond Rath, Managing Director at Globalview Advisors, participated in a two-day Level II/III Americas Exam Review Meeting for the CFA Institute on February 7 and 8, 2020 in Miami, Florida.  Select CFA charterholders were invited to apply to participate in the two days of meetings and Mr. Rath was among the group of qualified charterholders selected to attend.

Participants spent two days reviewing Level II and III questions proposed for the 2020 examination. The review focused on 1) the relevance of proposed exam questions from a global practitioner’s point of view; 2) the appropriateness of specific terminology; and 3) any cultural, language, or business issues pertaining to proposed questions. The Exam Review Meeting is one of many means the CFA Institute uses to insure the rigor of the CFA charter process and the relevance and fairness of the exams to a global pool of CFA charter candidates.

The CFA Institute periodically holds exam review meetings to gather feedback from charterholders regarding the upcoming CFA exam. The meetings provide an excellent opportunity for CFA charterholders to make a significant contribution to the exam development process.

The CFA Institute is the premier global association for investment management professionals. The CFA charter is globally recognized by finance, business and other professionals as a result of the rigor of education, experience and other requirements to obtain the CFA charter. CFA Institute publications include CFA Institute MagazineCFA Digest, and the CFA Financial Analysts Journal. The CFA Institute also publishes a variety of texts of interest to investment professionals and investors at their CFA Bookstore.
