Joseph Hirsch of Globalview Advisors attended the Association of Corporate Growth Orange County Chapter (ACG OC) Mergers and Acquisitions Academy Series on Trump Administration Policies and Their Impact, held at the UCI Paul Merage School of Business in Irvine.

The panel of speakers featured Christopher Schwartz, Ph.D., Associate Director of Finance and Faculty Director, Center for Investment and Wealth Management, UC Irvine, The Paul Merage School of Business; Loreen Gilbert, President of WealthWise Financial Services, Member of Trump Pence Small Business Advisory Council; and Sean Kelly, CPA, Tax Partner at Hein & Associates.

The presentations included an update on the general state and forecast of the US economy with specific factors for California and Orange County. The panel also addressed how the Trump Administration’s proposed rules and tax reforms, as well as the costs and benefits of changes in our trade policy and immigration policies, will affect M&A and the financial markets and real estate.
