Joseph Hirsch of Globalview Advisors attended the 11th Annual Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ) CFO of the Year Awards, held this year at the Hotel Irvine. The OCBJ program was designed to recognize senior financial professionals for their outstanding performance as corporate stewards. Candidates were required to be a Chief Financial Officer (or equivalent) of a business headquartered in Orange County, California.

The Awards for CFO of the Year were presented in the following five categories: Outstanding CFO of a Public Company; Outstanding CFO of a Private Company; Outstanding CFO of a Not-for-Profit Organization; Rising Star; and Lifetime Achievement. The winner for the Rising Star Award was not limited to CFOs; senior level financial professionals were considered. The winner for the Lifetime Achievement Award recognized finance professionals who have demonstrated the highest level of talent and commitment as corporate stewards for their respective companies over the course of their career.

The Outstanding CFO of a Public Company this year was awarded to Kevin Rubin, Chief Financial Officer at Alteryx;

The Outstanding CFO of a Private Company was awarded to Debbie Morris, Chief Financial Officer at Apria Healthcare;

The Outstanding CFO of a Not-for-Profit Organization was awarded to John Luker, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Orangewood Foundation and Samueli Academy;

The Rising Star was awarded to Michael Martinson, Chief Financial Officer at Ambry Genetics; and

The Lifetime Achievement awarded to Todd Schull, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at TTM Technologies.
